Dec 16, 2018 Logitech G602 Driver, Software Download, Windows For Mac, Specs, and Review – Logitech G602 can be installed directly and is also very easy to download and install because there are no transfers to additional websites, we have tried and we are very satisfied with various brands of Logitech. Logitech has tremendous advantages. G602 delivers a lag-free experience through a 2.4 GHz wireless connection with a 2 millisecond report rate. Unlike a unifying receiver meant to connect multiple devices, G602 uses the entire bandwidth of a dedicated USB nano receiver for gaming-grade, low-latency performance.
I just purchased a Logitech G602 wireless gaming mouse that uses a unifying receiver. Unlike my older M510 which I use on my 2011 HP running Windows 7, the G602 is not recognized by the device manager as a G602. Instead it is only identified as an HID compliantdevice and I'm told all software and drivers are up to date. This is clearly not the case.

Windows 7 recognizes exactly which mouse I am using. So far I'm not impressed with Windows 10 from both a UI and compatibility standpoint.Installing the G602 gaming software from the Logitech site does not help. It does not update the driver (NOTE: Update Drivers in the device manager is grayed out so I can't force Windows to do it).Has anyone found an official solution or work around? I get random pointer lag which is completely unacceptable when gaming (the reason I bought the mouse in the first place).
Change Universal Serial Bus controller’s settingsIf the mouse is not recognized by the computer it could be an indication of a power management problem. To fix it follow the steps below and the steps of the next section.
Click the Windows Start flag and type device manager in the search box. In the Programs list, click Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue. Click the arrow next to Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand the list, then right-click USB Root Hub, and click Properties. In the USB Root Hub Properties window, click the Power Management tab. Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power to disable the setting.

Disable USB selective suspend. Click Start and in the search box, type power options. In the Programs list, click Power Options. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue. Click Change plan settings for the power plan you use. Click Change advanced power settings.
The Power Options window appears. In the Power Options window, expand USB settings, and then expand USB selective suspend setting. (For laptop users only) To prevent Windows from turning off the USB root hub when the computer is running ‘On battery’ power, select Disabled in the On battery list. To prevent Windows from turning off the USB root hub when the computer is ‘Plugged in’ to a power outlet, select Disabled in the Plugged in list and then click OK. I had an issue where the mouse is seen by the Gaming Software but it has the error “Please wake up the device.” On Windows (or if on Mac, you have to re-pair the receiver by getting a hold of a Windows computer), I had to download and run the connection utility.
I ran into an error where the utility couldn't find the receiver but I came across this thread: and someone suggested to use the older connection utility version 2.00.3 (VISTA) and it recognized and paired with the mouse! You can find the older program here: - just change the OS to Windows Vista.Once I went through the pairing process the mouse worked again.
